Teriyaki Sweet Potato Mash

Condoning an impulsive craving for sweet potatoes with a twist, I excitedly pondered, what if this bronze-carb beauty was mashed and then married with flavors like soy, ginger, garlic and cilantro? It was a delightful prospect that had my taste buds excited. Sweet potatoes have a canvas so velvety and smooth, paving the way for all sorts of flavors to take hold without overpowering each other. In the future, this needs to be recreated with cilantro, a dash of coconut milk (great substitute for butter), ginger and soy.
